14 Barisal doctors get show cause notices

Barisal civil surgeon office issued show cause notices against 14 doctors of six upazila health complexes for neglecting their duties during office hours on Monday.   
Civil Surgeon (CS) of Barisal Dr AFM Safiuddin acknowledging the facts said he visited six upazila health complexes and union health centres last week and have found the doctors did not attend their offices.
Not only that some doctors issued his private prescription to the patients in his office. CS said if the doctors failed give satisfactory answer they will be punished.
The show caused doctors were identified as Residential Medical Officer of Gournadi Upazila Health Complex Dr Moniruzaman with Dr Sekandar Ali Mollah, Dr Monika Biswas, Dr Nihar Ranjan Boiddha and Dr Mir Mohiuddin of the same health complex,  Medical Officer of Madhopasa Union Health Center Dr Shek Mijanur Rahman, Medical officer of Agarpur Union Health Centre Dr Saoda Islam,  Residential Medical Officer of Banaripara upazila health complex Dr Irin Tamanna Tonni with Dr Shahadath Hosen and Dr Jamil Hosen of the same health complex, Medical Officer of Baishari Union Health Center Dr Nayem Hasan, Medical Officer of Kashipur Union Health Center Dr Shahrin Arefin and Medical Officer of Guthia Union Health Centre Dr Srabonti Mala.
