Traffic on the Mayor Mohammad Hanif Flyover was closed for over an hour following clashes between two groups of transport workers at Joykali Mandir Road near Banga Bhaban. This choked the busy central streets of the capital, causing severe inconvenience to commuters and Eid shoppers. The warring workers kept buses immobile on the flyover and effectively closed it from around 12-45pm to 1-45pm. Later, on receiving news, police rushed to the spot to clear the flyover.
