Two ‘terrorists’ held in Jessore

JESSORE: Two alleged fugitive terrorists have been arrested in separate raids at South-Baropota village and Benapole market area under Sharsha upazila of the district yesterday morning and Sunday night, reports BSS.
The arrested terrorists are, Yaab Ali, 52, a resident of South-Baropota village and Sweet, 38, son of Kabir Hossain of Dighirpar village under Benapole port Thana.
Officer-in-Charge (OC) of Benapole port Thana Apurbo Hasan said, on the basis of secret information police conducted raid at South-Baropota village at 10.30 am today and arrested Yaab Ali with a gun.
They conducted another raid at Benapole market area on Sunday night at about 10.00 pm and arrested Sweet with a homemade sharp weapon (Ram-dao).
