SI closed in Magura

Magura: A sub-inspector of Sadar Police Station was closed to district Police Line on Sunday night for taking bribe during the recently concluded countrywide crackdown against terrorists, reports UNB.
The suspended policeman is SI Nimai Chandra.
Ehsan Ullah, superintendent of Magura Police, said several people alleged that Nimai Chandra took bribe from them during drives in different areas of the upazila.
The action was taken against him as evidences were found in support of the allegations, added the SP.
