A three-member probe committee has been formed yesterday over the Bangladesh Chhatra League (BCL) factional clashes at Chittagong Government College on Saturday and Sunday.
The committee, headed by Dr Ferdous Ara Begum, head of department of Bangla, has been asked to submit the report within three days.
All the classes of the college have been suspended for yesterday (Monday) and today (Tuesday). However, admission activities for class XI will be continued as usual, said college sources.
Jesmin Akhter, principal of Chittagong Government College, said a three-member probe committee was formed over the clashes for last two days. She also claimed the admission for class XI is going on smoothly and the situation of the college is peaceful now.
At least seven Bangladesh Chhatra League (BCL) men were injured during the factional clashes of two BCL groups over welcoming the admission seekers of the college.
