Turning down the Prime Minister’s allegation that its leader Tarique Rahman issued a life threat to British MP Tulip Siddiq, BNP yesterday alleged that Sheikh Hasina brought the accusation only to mislead people and hush up public anger, reports UNB. “The prime minister’s remark about our senior vice chairman Tarique Rahman is not only low-taste, discourteous, provocative, awfully vindictive one, but also a new instance of autocratic attack on a political opponent with venomous words,” said BNP Secretary General Mirza Fakhrul Islam Alamgir.
