Book unveiling ceremony held at NSU
North South University (NSU) launched its historic book Road to Excellence on NSU campus at Bashundhara in the capital yesterday on Thursday, says a press release.
Dr Hossain Zillur Rahman, an academic, economist and former member of the caretaker government, unveiled the book as chief guest, MA Kashem, chairman, BOT, attended the programme as the special guest.
BAU Journalists Association hosts iftar party
MYMENSINGH: Bangladesh Agricultural University Journalists Association (BAUJA) hosted an Iftar Mahfil at the Teacher Student Centre (TSC) conference room on the campus on Saturday. Chaired by the BAUJA president Md Hatem Ali, vice-chancellor of BAU Prof Dr Md Ali Akbar attended the programme as the chief guest.
BAU Students Affairs Advisor Prof Dr Md Jasimuddin Khan and president of BAU Teachers Association Prof Dr Solayman Ali Fakir attended the iftar party as the special guests. Prof Dr Luthful Hassan, director of BAU Research System (BAURES) and Prof Dr AKM Zakir Hossain, proctor of BAU attended. A good number of teachers including general secretary of BAU Teachers Association, Associate Students Affairs Advisor, proctorial body members, staffs of the university and members of BAUJA took part in the iftar party.
