Five fake detectives arrested
Detective Branch of Dhaka Metropolitan Police yesterday arrested five fake DB personnel from Khilgaon area in the capital.
The arrested were identified as Barek Miah, Abu Bakar Siddiqui alias Rony, Shahidul Islam, Rasel Hawlader and Shopon Akanda While addressing a press briefing at DMP Media Centre in the capital, Joint Commissioner of Detective Branch Abdul Baten said getting secret information, a team of DB raided in front of Khilgaon Committee Centre yesterday night and arrested the fake DB personnel. Police also seized a micro bus from their possession, he added. During the primary interrogation, the arrested fake DB men admitted that they were preparing to commit robbery in the capital
