Charges pressed against BCL leader Rony

Police yesterday submittted chargesheet accusing Bangladesh Chhatra League (BCL) Chittagong city unit general secretary Nurul Azim Rony, in an arms case.

Hathazari Police sub inspector Delwar Hossain Chowdhury, who is also the investigation officer of the case, submitted the charge-sheet in the court of senior judicial magistrate Shahidulla Kaisar, said district court inspector Moshiur Rahman.
The inspector said Rony is the lone accused in the case.
A BGB team detained the BCL leader along with a pistol and 15 rounds of bullet from Charia Board School polling centre area at Hathazari upazila on May 7 during union parishad election.
