WSIS Award handed over to PM

Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina yesterday received the World Summit on Information Society (WSIS) Award, which Bangladesh won at a summit in Geneva, reports UNB.
PM’s Principal Secretary Md Abul Kalam Azad handed over the award to the Prime Minister at the Cabinet Room of Sangsad Bhaban. The Project Director of A2I Programme received the award at the summit held in Geneva on May 25-26.
Receiving the award, Sheikh Hasina reiterated her pledge to build a digital Bangladesh through spreading science and technology-based education.
