Former lawmaker of Patuakhali-4 constituency and central vice-chairman of Jatiya Party Abdur Razzaq Khan died of a heart attack at Suhrawardy Hospital in the capital yesterday morning. He was 70. Freedom fighter Razzaq Khan left behind his wife, three sons, four daughters, relatives, well-wishers, and friends to mourn his death. He will be buried at his village home Patuakhali today. His first namaj-e-janaza was held on the premises of South Plaza of Jatiya Sangsad yesterday morning. His 2nd namaj-e-janaza will be held at Kalapara Yatimkhana Jame Mosque premises on Friday morning and 3rd janaza will be held at his village Sultanganj Madrasa premises area in Kalapara upazila on Friday afternoon. Jatiya Party Chairman Hussain Muhammad Ershad and its Secretary General ABM Ruhul Amin Hawlader expressed deep shock at the death of Razzaq Khan.
In a condolence message, they pray for the eternal peace of the departed soul and conveyed deep sympathy to the bereaved family members.
