Members of Bangladesh Coast Guard (BGB) recovered 48,000 pieces of Yaba tablets from Dobashibazar area under Anwara upazila of Chittagong yesterday, reports BSS. Coast Guard sources said based on secret information, a team of coast guard personnel led by Lieutenant Commander M Forhad, commanding officer of CGS Taohid raided Dobashibazar area under Anwara upazila at 6 am yesterday and recovered 48,000 pieces of Yaba tablets in an abandoned state. Sensing the presence of BGB, the drug peddlers fled the scene leaving the yaba tablets on the spot, the sources said.
