The Anti Corruption Commission (ACC) has approved chargesheet against a former sub-registrar of Narayanganj in a graft case, reports UNB. The Commission at its regular meeting on Wednesday approved the chargesheet against him, ACC public relations officer Pranab Kumar Bhattacharya said. On November 24, 2015, the ACC filed a case against former sub-registrar of Rupganj Sheikh Hasan Ali with Ramna Police Station in the capital for allegedly accumulating illegal wealth. According to first information report (FIR), Hasan Ali amassed illegal wealth worth around Tk 1.25 crore. The ACC probe identified that the former sub-registrar had given false information of about Tk 69 lakh in his wealth statement he submitted to the Commission earlier, and also found he accumulated illegal wealth worth Tk 56 lakh.
