Tk 33.57cr loan disbursed to marginal fish farmers

The government has disbursed Tk 33,57,49,000 as interest-free small loan among poor and marginal fish farmers across the country under the 'Fisheries Sector Small Loan Register-2011', reports BSS.
A total of 59,210 small and marginal have been able to reap benefit of this loan scheme of the government, Fisheries
and Livestock Minister Sayeedul Haque said this today while replying to a question from treasury bench member Advocate Navana Akter in
the House.
Replying to another question, the minister informed the House that the government is implementing 26 development projects costing Tk 382.52 crore in the fisheries sector in the current financial year 2015-2016.
