Two BAU students suspended

Punishment for illegally staying in a dormitory

The authorities of Bangladesh Agricultural University (BAU) in Mymensingh suspended two students for one semester (six months) for staying illegally at night in a dormitory on the campus recently. The suspended students are Jibon Roy, a master’s student of the Aquaculture Department and Fatema Tuj Zohra, also a master’s student of Parasitology Department of BAU. The authorities suspended them under the ‘Ordinance for students discipline’ for one semester as they stayed illegally at the Dr M A Wazed Ali PhD dormitory on Wednesday night. BAU Proctor Prof Dr AKM Zakir Hossain said the university authorities took the move after they were found guilty.
