Tk 20.18cr allocated for ultra poor

JAMALPUR: Disaster Management and Relief Ministry allocated Tk about 20.18 crore for ultra poor people under its Employment Generating Programme in the district, reports BSS. The work of second phase of the programme will be completed this month. District Relief and Rehabilitation office sources said Tk 18,16,32,000 were allotted as wages for the laborers and Tk 2,01,81,000 were allotted as non-wages cost. A total of 22,551 laborers- 10,749 female and 11,802 male have been working under the programme in the district.
