Man dies after being beaten by brother

Chuadanga: A man who received injuries after being hit by his younger brother in a clash at Jahurulnagar village of Alamdanga upazila, died on the way to hospital early yesterday, reports UNB.
The deceased was identified as Khaibar Ali, 52, son of Mahatab Ali, a resident of the village.
Mehedi Rasel, officer-in-charge of Alamdanga Police Station, said Khaibar locked into an altercation with his brother Chand Miah on Saturday over a land related dispute.
At one stage, Chand Miah beat his brother mercilessly which left him critically injured.
Later, he was admitted at Hardi Hospital at the upazila.As his condition deteriorated, he was referred to Dhaka Medical College Hospital.He succumbed to his injuries in Tangail on the way to hospital around 4.30am.
