Human chain protests attack on minorities

Speakers at a human chain programme yesterday morning strongly protested attack and killing on religious minorities in different parts the country and demanded security for them.
They also demanded safety of the minority communities and compensation for the affected families and said that it is their fundamental rights of the citizen. Barisal unit Hindu-Christian-Boddho Oykya Parishad organised the programme at Sadar Road of the city. The programme was presided over by secretary of district Puja Committee Suronjeet Datta Litu and addressed among others by president of district unit CPB Abul Kalam Azad, Advocate Hiron Kumar Das Mithu, Gopal Sarkar, Bidhan Chandra Roy.
