President for spreading eye treatment facilities

BSS

President Abdul Hamid has urged the Ophthalmological Society of Bangladesh (OSB) to take steps to spread the eye-treatment facilities across the country, reports BSS.
He made this call when a seven-member delegation of Ophthalmological Society of Bangladesh (OSB), led by Syed Modassaer Ali, made a courtesy call on him at Bangabhaban in the capital yesterday, President's Press Secretary Joynal Abedin said.
The President suggested them conducting eye-camp at different places in the country so that the poor and distressed people can get eye treatment easily.
During the meeting, the delegation apprised President Hamid of the activities of Ophthalmological Society of Bangladesh  (OSB) and invited him to attend OSB's international conference to be held in the next month as the chief guest.
Secretaries concerned to the President were present.
