Goethe-Institit Bangladesh, in cooperation with Omni Music, is organising a workshop titled ‘Dialog on Professional Sound’ by renowned German Professor Matthias Middelkamp tomorrow at 11 am at the Yamaha Omni Music premises the city’s Dhanmondi area. Professor Matthias Middelkamp with the focus on recording live-sound, live-broadcast, acoustic planning and teaching will conduct the workshop for the professionals working in the sound engineering scene in Bangladesh.
This workshop aims to improve the sound engineering scene in Bangladesh through understanding overall capabilities and expertise of local sound system providers as well as music recording studios, identifying technical needs, knowledge sharing on maintenance of equipment, troubleshooting, etc.
Professor Middelkamp worked with renowned artistes like Robert Wilson, Laurie Anderson, Nike Wagner, ZDF, RTL, ORF, West-Eastern-Divan Orchestra, MDR, Sinfonierorchester, Afghan National Institute of Music, and so on.
To note, this is an open event, on first-come first-seating basis.
