BCB selects Corey as trainer for HP squad

Corey Bocking has been picked by Bangladesh Cricket Board (BCB) as the trainer for the BCB’s intensive training programme of High Performance (HP) unit.
This Australian trainer will soon arrive in Dhaka to join with the team. The training programme of HP is scheduled to commence from this month. This time it will start with fitness training.  The main camp will begin on July after the Eid vacation. But the four-day fitness training will kick off June 27-30 before the Eid vacation.
This time a total of 20-25 will be selected for the training programme under three departments. Selectors are working to enlist the players for the short-term camp.
It is learnt from the close source that Corey will come Bangladesh to join with the team after the next two weeks.
Earlier, Corey’s compatriot Simon Helmut has been appointed as the head coach of the HP programme for the three-month. He has already arrived in Dhaka and inked the deal with the board.
Helmut will leave Dhaka for Canberra today. He will return to Dhaka before the start of the training programme.
