Goethe-Institit Bangladesh, in cooperation with Omni Music, will host a workshop on professional sound on Tuesday, reports UNB.
The workshop will begin at 11am on the Yamaha Omni Music premise at Dhanmondi in the city.
Renowned German Prof Matthias Middelkamp with the focus on recording live-sound, live-broadcast, acoustic planning and teaching will conduct the workshop for the professionals working in the sound engineering scene in Bangladesh.
This workshop aims to improve the sound engineering scene in Bangladesh thought understanding overall capabilities and expertise of local sound system providers as well as music recording studios, identifying technical needs, knowledge sharing on maintenance of equipment, troubleshooting, etc.
Prof Middelkamp worked with renowned artists like Robert Wilson, Laurie Anderson, Nike Wagner, ZDF, RTL, ORF, West-Eastern-Divan Orchestra, MDR, Sinfonierorchester and Afghan National Instiute of Music, said a press release.
