The Anti Corruption Commission (ACC) yesterday approved a chargesheet against a suspended general manger of Sonali Bank’s head office on graft charges.
The Commission in its regular meeting approved the chargesheet against suspended general manger Nani Gopal Nath, ACC public relations officer Pranab Kumar Bhattacharya told UNB.
On January 31, 2016, the Commission filed a case against him with Ramna Model Police Station in the capital for not submitting his wealth statement to the ACC as per its requirement. During the investigation, the national anti-graft body found that Nani Gopal Nath accumulated wealth illegally.
The chargesheet will soon be submitted before court against him.
