National U-15 soccer kicks off June 27

The Sailor-BFF Under-15 National Football Championship will kick-off June 27 across the country. 61 districts divided into eight zones will take part in the tournament.
The logo and the grouping of the competition were unveiled yesterday at the BFF Bhaban in the presence of former and present national stars with Kaiser Hamid, Mohammed Jasimuddin Josi, Mamuul Islam, Enamul Haque joined in the lottery of groping.
Badal Roy, chairman of the development committee of the Bangladesh football federation (BFF), stated that the tournament has been introduced to produce future players of the country and right now they began the process to select players for the AFC and SAFF Under-16 team.
Badal Roy, former national star, addressing the press conference said that it is one kind of scouting to pick up talents while their (BFF) coaches worked for long time at different district level to pick up the budding footballers.
Now 61 district team teams will play in eight zone. The zonal champions will qualify for the final round.
All the participant teams will receive Taka 25,000 each as participation money while the zonal champions and the runners-up team will be awarded with trophy.
Badal Roy, replying to a query said that there will be no compromise with the age of players. Now AFC and FIFA are very much strict with the players age, so there is no way to show any tolerance about the age of the boys. We will maintain it very carefully.
The eight venues are: Chandpur, Rajshahi, Gopalganj, Chuadanga, Jessore, Thakurgaon, Chittagong and Tangail.
