The High Court yesterday granted bail to BNP leader Barrister Rafikul Islam Miah in five cases lodged over committing subversion acts, reports BSS. A High Court division bench comprising Justice AKM Asaduzzaman and Justice Ataur Rahman Khan passed the order accepting a bail plea on behalf of the BNP leader. According to the defence, the five cases were filed with capital’s Paltan, Motijheel, Pallabi, Mirpur and Jatrabari Police Stations. With these, Barrister Rafikul has secured bail in 27 out of the total 28 cases.
