India to play one-off Test with
Tigers in Hyderabad in Feb

Ending all speculations, India finally revealed that they would host Bangladesh for a Test match in February next year. The one-off Test will be held in Hyderabad albeit no specific date is mentioned yet.
The latest development came at the moment when Bangladesh Cricket Board (BCB) asked its Indian counterpart to disclose the specific timeframe of the Test. Indian remains the only one country who never hosted Bangladesh since it was given the Test status in 2000.
According to the Future Tour Programme (FTP) of ICC, Bangladesh were supposed to tour in India in August this year but India was scheduled to play the four-match Test series against West Indies that would be ended on August 22.
Then the series was supposed to be held in September and it was ruled out further with the India playing against New Zealand and England at this period.
The fate of the tour thus was at stake which is why the BCB gets desperate and asked the timeframe. The BCCI has removed all uncertainty over the tour however, releasing their schedule for the 2016-17 home season.
The BCCI has announced that Rajkot, Visakhapatnam, Pune, Dharamsala, Ranchi and Indore will debut as Test venues in India's 2016-17 home season, which will include series against New Zealand, England, Australia and Bangladesh. The announcement was made after the BCCI's Tour Programme and Fixtures Committee met in Mumbai.
“I welcome the new Test venues... their arrival will take Test match cricket to every corner of the country,” BCCI president Anurag Thakur said in a statement.
In all, India's home season will include 13 Tests, eight ODIs and three T20Is; 13 Tests equals the record for the highest number of home Tests in a season for India. The previous time these many were held was in 1979-80.
New Zealand will visit first and play three Tests and five ODIs, before England arrive towards the end of the year for five Tests, three ODIs and three T20Is. The Australia series is scheduled for February-March 2017; they will play four Tests. The BCCI said the Bangladesh Test will be held in Hyderabad, but did not mention a date for it.
Indore, Kanpur and Kolkata will host New Zealand for their three Tests, before they move to Dharamsala, Delhi, Mohali, Ranchi and Visakhapatnam for the one-dayers.
England's Tests are scheduled for Mohali, Rajkot, Mumbai, Visakhapatnam and Chennai, while Pune, Cuttack and Kolkata get their ODIs. The three T20Is will be played in Bangalore, Nagpur and Kanpur.
