Missing boy found dead

KHULNA: A minor boy, who went missing a few days ago, was found dead in a water body at Kartikul in Arongghata area of Khulna city yesterday, reports UNB.
Quoting witnesses, police said locals spotted the body of Hashmi Mia, 9, son of Hafizur of Sardanga village, kept in a sack lying in the water body and informed police.
Later police recovered the body around 10 am and sent it to Khulna Medical College Hospital morgue for an autopsy. Nasim Khan, officer-in-charge of Arongghata Police Station, said Hashmi remained missing for a few days and his father filed a general diary in this connection on Wednesday.
