Teacher dies falling from rooftop

Satkhira: A college teacher died after he fell from the roof top of his building at Pachrokhi village in Tala upazila of the district yesterday morning, reports UNB.
The victim was identified as Haider Ali, 46, a resident of the village.
Hiader was a teacher of the Statistics department of Tala Women College.
Tarikul Islam, officer-in-charge of Patkelghata Police Station, said Haider was cutting a coconut tree standing on the rooftop of his two-storey building around 9am.
At one stage, he slipped from the roof unconsciously and died on the spot.
