Finance Minister Abul Maal Abdul Muhith yesterday said he will not participate in the next parliament elections. Muhith disclosed this to journalists after a meeting on the development of health sector of Sylhet at the secretariat. “I cannot discharge my responsibilities a lot now in my constituency. AK Momen (younger brother of the Finance Minister) is taking preparations for the next polls,” Muhith said. The finance minister also said that his (Momen’s) acceptability and the party position will have to be seen.
