State Minister for Power, Energy and Mineral Resources Nasrul Hamid yesterday said the Geological Survey of Bangladesh (GSB) information and findings have been playing a significant role in the national progress as well as development, reports BSS. “The trend of the GSB information and its findings would have to continue for the national development as well as progress,” he said at a seminar titled “Geo Information for Urban Development, Bangladesh” at GSB auditorium in the capital, according to a release. The state minister said, “Budget is now not a problem, problem is skilled manpower. We need officers and employees, who can see dream and implement it”. Energy and Mineral Resources Division Secretary Nazim Uddin Chowdhury, First Secretary of German Embassy in Dhaka Roswitha Amels and Director General of GSB Dr M Nehal Uddin also spoke.
