BNP Senior Joint Secretary General Ruhul Kabir Rizvi yesterday said party Chairperson Khaleda Zia does not use any personal mobile phone.“Question does not arise of bio-metric re-registration of SIM by Khaleda Zia since she holds no personal mobile phone,” the BNP leader told reporters hours after State Minister for Posts and Telecommunications Tarana Halim disclosed at a briefing in the capital that the former premier did not re-register any SIM card in her name. Talking to reporters at the party’s Naya Paltan central office in the capital, Rizvi further said the BNP chairperson also has T&T (land) phones both at her office and residence and she mostly uses these land phones to communicate with her relatives and others.
