DL reporter

Today is the birthday of audience-admired actor Arzu. Even though on this special day, he has no elaborate plans, he will make time for some of his close people. On an interesting note, this particular birthday will be an auspicious one for the talented actor as he will be getting a very unique gift. DhakaLive has news that today, he will be handed over the responsibilities of managing director of MK Group, an export import business group which deals with electronics as well as garments. Chairman of the group HM Chowdhury will hand over the responsibilities to Arzu today.
Arzu shared his thoughts, “This is certainly a special day for me as I begin a new journey. A lot of my seniors have involved themselves in business ventures and it was always a goal for me to one day get into business in addition to being an actor. I am not busy every single day of the year, so I can devote a lot of my time towards business activities. Chairman HM Chowdhury knew everything about me when he handed over the responsibilities to me. I am hoping I do well in this field as well.”
To note, Arzu-acted last film was ‘Cheleti Abol Tabol Meyti Pagol Pagol’, directed by Saif Chandan, where he acted opposite Airin. On the other hand, the work of his other film titled ‘Amar Prem Amar Priya’, directed by Shamimul Islam, is almost completed.
Popular actress Pori Moni will be acting alongside Arzu in the film. Arzu-acted released films are ‘Tumi Acho Hridoye’, directed by Hasibul Islam Mizan, ‘Prem Bishad’ by AKM Feroze Babu, ‘Abuj Prem’, directed by Abul Khayer Bulbul, ‘Bajaow Biyer Bajna’ by Mohammad Hossain Jemi, ‘Mon Tor Jonno Pagol’ directed by Hanif Nasir, ‘Bhalobashar Galpo’ by Ananya Mamun and ‘Headmaster’ directed by Delwar Hossain Jhantu. Very soon, his film ‘Ei Tumi Sei Tumi’, directed by Gaziur Rahman will see its release.
