AFP, TOYOTA CITY (JAPAN): Japan pulverised Bulgaria 7-2 in the four-team Kirin Cup friendly tournament Friday, with playmaker Shinji Kagawa scoring twice in an embarrassingly one-sided game.
Earlier, Bosnia-Herzegovina beat Denmark on penalties in a clash of teams who, like Bulgaria, missed out on a place in Euro 2016 which kicks off in France next week.
Okazaki opened the scoring after just four minutes in Toyota with a glancing header despite the suspicion of offside, before a double from Borussia Dortmund forward Kagawa.
