Police arrested the owner of a private clinic from Kabirpur area in Shailkupa upazila on Saturday in connection with a case filed for giving wrong treatment, reports UNB. The arrestee was identified as Saidur Rahman, owner of Ayesha Clinic of the upazila. Police sources said Rafeza Khatun, a pregnant woman, reportedly died in the clinic for wrong treatment on May 21.Later, victim’s father Abdul Halim filed a case against four people, including the owner of the clinic, in the incident. Police arrested Saidur from the area in the afternoon. M A Hashem Khan, officer-in-charge of Shailakupa police station, confirmed the incident.
