Panchagarh: An electrician was electrocuted at Prodhanabad village as he came in contact with a live electric wire on Thursday, reports BSS.
The victim was identified as Zakaria, 31, son of late Khurshed Alam of the village in Debiganj upazila of the district.
Eye witnesses and family sources said, Zakaria, an electrician by profession, came in contact with a live electric wire when he was engaged in an electric repairing work at a house nearby his home.
Locals and relatives rushed him to Debiganj Upazila Health Complex in critical condition where attending doctors declared him dead.
