Tangail ASP withdrawn on EC’s order

Assistant Police Super of Tangail (Gopalpur circle) has been withdrawn on the order of Election Commission ahead of the 6th phase Union Parishad election, reports UNB from Tangail. District election officer Tajul Islam said they received a letter from the EC on Thursday asking for withdrawing ASP Jamir Uddin for the sake of free and fair election. The sixth phase election to the lowest tier of the local government will be held today.
