Heroic return for Mustafiz

Bangladesh pace sensation Mustafizur Rahman returned home yesterday night after completing his maiden IPL mission with a great success as his team Sunrisers Hyderabad lifted the coveted title for the first time on Sunday.
An overwhelmed but shy Mustafiz,  wearing a rose made crown, arrived on a flight that landed at Hazrat Shahjal International Airport at 10.45 pm. He was received by Deputy Minister for Youth and Sports Arif  Khan Joy and BCB CEO Nizamuddin  Chowdhury Sujon at the airport. They garlanded the cricket prodigy and offered him sweets. Mohammedan Sporting Club official Wasim Khan and some relatives of Mustafiz were also present to greet him. The deputy sports minister informed the proud cricketer that Prime Minister Sheikh  Hasina has dubbed him a ‘National Hero’ and congratulated him for his heroic performance in the IPL.
Mustafiz, in his reaction to media, said, “First of all I would like to express my gratitude to the prime minister, Bangladesh Cricket Board and also to all the cricket fans of the country for  their support and prayers for me. Definitely, I am very happy to do something that made the nation proud,”
“I thought of my parents all the time and I think it is their prayers also that helped me achieve the feat in India.  Almost everyday I talked with my family members and they inspired me at every match,” said the left-arm pacer  
Replying to a query he said, “I will meet BCB officials tomorrow and also meet the team physio before deciding on my future plan whether I will play in England or in domestic league as I have a little injury in my leg,” said Mustafiz.
A shy Mustafiz said he knows the English language a little, but has acquired cricketing English words which were enough to communicate with teammates. “But I really enjoy when the cricketers of other nations come to me to learn some Bangla words,” Mustafiz said.
Earlier the ace Bangladesh fast bowler Mustafizur Rahman was voted the Emerging Player of IPL 2016 to complement his team Sunrisers Hyderabad’s maiden title.
It was the remarkable achievement for the young mystery pacer who has just completed his one year into the international cricket.
Even though his good performance was somewhat expected, no one thought that world class batsmen in the IPL will fail to read his bowling. He indeed left the IPL, without being decoded.
