The eager and enthusiastic music loving crowd present at the Nabaratri Hall of International Convention Bashundara City in the capital’s Baridhara area was treated to an amazing night of music as celebrated Pakistani singer and film actor Atif Aslam, popular Indian playback singers Mamta Sharma, Akriti Kakkar and Sabbir Khan performed at the event titled ‘Rhythm for All with Atif Aslam Night Live in Dhaka 2016’, held on Sunday, organised by ATN Entertainment Ltd, a sister concern of ATN Bangla. The event was presented by Debashish Biswas and Ambrin. Sabbir Khan delighted the audience with his number ‘Suno Na Sange Marmar’. Then ‘Munni Badnam Hui’-famed singer Mamta Sharma gave new life to the Bangla song ‘Antor Jole Re Jole’, followed by her popular tracks ‘Anarkali’, ‘Tinku Jia’, ‘Fevicol’, ‘Main Tenu Samajhawan’ to the thrill of the crowd. Then it was Akriti Kakkar’s turn to delight the audience as she came onto the stage and the boisterous crowd enjoyed as she performed ‘Marjani Marjani’, ‘Paglu’, ‘Laag Ja Gale’, ‘Bare Acche Lagta Hain’.
Then came the much-anticipated moment when, among the dimmed lights, the hypnotic atmosphere with lights and sound and the constant thrills, Atif Aslam appeared on stage and performed ‘Ah Raha Hu Main’. After completing the song, he addressed the audience and expressed that it was because of their love and support that he was here in Bangladesh and also expressed his love for them. Then one after the other, he performed his hit tracks. The crowd was delighted and as he was a familiar face in Bangladesh by performing before in previous concerts, he was once again appreciated as the crowd enjoyed every moment of the event.
