Criminals injure Christian man  
Pabna: A Christian man was injured as a group of criminals stabbed him at Khoiljana village in Chatmohor upazila on Sunday night, reports UNB.
The injured was identified as Ranjit Rojario, 30, son of late Jaj Rojario of the area.
Officer-in-charge of Chatmohor Police Station Subroto Kumar said a group of unidentified criminals attacked Ranjit while he was returning home in the area at about 10:30 pm. At one stage, the attackers stabbed Ranjit indiscriminately, leaving him critically injured.
Later, he was rushed to Pabna General Hospital.
The reason behind the attack could not be known immediately, the OC added.

Weaver killed in Tangail
Tangail:A weaver was allegedly killed by miscreants at Binduria village under Delduar upazila of the district on Sunday night, reports BSS.
The deceased was identified as Ashraf Ali Khan, 45, son of Ramjan Ali, a resident of Gajiabari village of the upazila.
Family sources said Ashraf went out from his house last night after receiving a phone call and didn't return home.
Police recovered the slaughtered body of Ashraf from Elangjani river of the district this morning, said Mosarrof Hossain, officer-in-charge of Delduar Thana.
Police suspected that Ashraf might have been killed over previous enmity. The body was sent to Tangail Medical College Hospital morgue for postmortem.
Woman's body recovered
Magura: Police recovered the body of an unidentified woman from Gabarnada village under Mohammadpur upazila of the district yesterday, reports BSS.
On receipt of information, police rushed to the spot and recovered the body, tide up hands and legs with rope, from a jute field of the area at about 12.30 pm, said Riajul Islam, officer-in-charge of Mohammadpur police station.
Police suspects that miscreants might have killed the woman by strangulation. The body was later sent to hospital morgue for autopsy.
A case was filed in this connection.
9 kg cannabis seized
Munshiganj: Police recovered 9 kilograms of cannabis from a private car at Gazaria under Munshiganj district on Dhaka-Chittagong highway on Sunday, reports BSS.
Acting on a tip off, a team of police of Bhabarchar Highway police outpost intercepted a Dhaka bound private car bearing Popular Life Insurance company sticker in the area and recovered 9 kilograms of cannabis after making a search in the car.
