Two ‘criminals’ held with arms

Khagrachhari: Law enforcers arrested two alleged criminals along with a pistol, three rounds of bullets and two mobile phone sets from Beltali Para in Sadar upazila on Sunday, reports UNB.
The arrestees were identified as Asini Chakma, 50, son of late Subat Chakma of Dewanpara and Kinadhon Chakma, 20, son of Bhulon Chakma of Banyamachhara area.
Officer-in-charge of Laxmichhari Police Station Ahaduzzaman said tipped off, a joint team of police and army conducted a drive in the area and arrested the duo at night.
Later, the law enforcers recovered a pistol, three rounds of bullets and two mobile phone sets from their possession.
