Death anniv of Zia observed in Barisal

The 35th death anniversary of former president and founder of Bangladesh Nationalist Party (BNP) Ziaur Rahman was observed by Barisal city and district unit BNP and its front organisations here on Monday with day long programme.
A memorial meeting was jointly organised by Barisal city and district unit BNP on the party office premises with joint secretary of central BNP and city BNP president Advocate Mujibor Rahman Sarwar in the chair. The programme, addressed among other by Ebaydul Haque Chand, Ziauddin Sikdar, Abul Kalam Shahin, Mojibor Rahman Nantu and others. City BNP also called a discussion meeting on the life of Zia at noon.
