Australian, Egyptian envoys meet president

Outgoing Australian High Commissioner to Bangladesh Greg Wilcock and Egyptian Ambassador Mahmoud Ezzat met President Abdul Hamid at Bangabhaban separately yesterday, reports UNB.
During the meeting with the outgoing Australian High Commissioner, President Hamid said Australian is an important development partner of Bangladesh.
President’s press secretary Joynal Abedin briefed reporters after the two meetings.
During the meeting with Egyptian Ambassador Mahmoud Ezzat, Abdul Hamid thanked him for his successful competition of assignment in Bangladesh and his efforts for the expansion of relationship between the two countries.
President Hamid hoped that the existing bilateral relations between the two countries would be strengthened further.
