Disorganized urban lifestyle and hectic schedules has led to an increase in the number of people who suffer from heart diseases in the recent years. It is quite difficult to find time or any energy for exercise after a long and tiring day at work and leaves little time to plan proper diets.
Over consumption of alcohol and cigarettes while partying is one of the biggest factors which leads to the health woes and hamper ones quality of life these days. An active social life is a must in the current era’s society, but it can also have adverse affect on health. Unusual working hours, wrong eating habits and sleeping are few such prime reasons for increase in heart related diseases in cities.
Can the risk of heart diseases be reduced or eliminated?
If yes, how?
Fortunately, this is a risk that can be eliminated by simply following a healthy diet plan along with a few other exercises. It is advisable to perform basic breathing exercises that improve blood circulation and oxygen supply to the body by strengthening the cardiovascular system.
Simple Health tips for a healthy Heart:
1. Health foods have just as much variety as junk foods. The right kind of ingredients put together can help turn even simple salads into delicacy.  
2. The best way to avoid unhealthy supplements is to understand the nutritional information of the food products.
3. People should try to cut down consumption of saturated fat and trans-fats.
4. Switch to healthier alternatives like canola, olive, safflower, or sunflower oil instead of using solid fat like butter and margarine.
5. Try to snack on more protein rich products such as dry fruits, nuts and vegetables, avoid plain flour (maida) based deep fried snacks.
6. The first step to a healthy heart is to reduce cholesterol, use as little oil as possible while cooking to make dishes healthier.
7. It is important to follow a healthy food habit that includes fibers, minerals and proteins.
8. Avocados and olive oil are the best way to include some healthy fats in the diet.
9. Replace regular pasta with whole grain one to enjoy a tasty as well as a fibre rich meal.
10. These simple diet plans along with some exercises routines can help avoid any serious heart conditions and will also help the heart to stay stronger for a longer period of time.
