A four-day exhibition of paintings done by working children kicked off at Zainul Gallery of the Fine Arts Faculty of Dhaka University (DU) yesterday, reports UNB. The exhibition, titled ‘Ronge Ronge Rangdhonu’, was organised by Child Rights Unit of Ain O Salish Kendra (ASK). Paintings by children of the Drop-in Centre of the Child Rights Unit will be showcased in the exhibition. Eminent Artist Mustafa Monwar inaugurated the exhibition as chief guest while founding member of ASK Khurshed Erfan Ahmed presided over the inaugural ceremony. Artist Syeda Kamal and Prof Rokeya Sultana of the Fine Arts Faculty of DU were present at the programme as special guests. A cultural programme was also held with the participation of the children of the Drop-in Centre. The exhibition will remain open from 12 pm to 7 pm and will end on May 30.
