Salahuddin sounds confident
BFF President Kazi Mohammed Salahuddin

“Everything will go in right direction and all the necessary works will be done in right time, I think there is nothing wrong with our programs were taken to organise the Bangladesh Super League (BSL),” said Kazi Mohammed Salahuddin, president of the Bangladesh Football Federation (BFF).
The BFF president while talking to this correspondent yesterday said that they (BFF) have already met with the Sports Ministry and the National Sports Council (NSC) and they agreed with them (BFF) to take necessary steps immediately to make ready the venues for the BSL.
“We detailed all about the renovation of the venues outside Dhaka, we attempted to organise the BSL matches, they (Ministry and NSC) will take necessary steps to start the work.”
“I am hopeful that everything will get ready in time, there is nothing to be worried,” Salahuddin said.
But Tarafdar Ruhul Amin, the Managing Director of the SAIF Powertec, sponsors of the BSL  who also talked to this correspondent yesterday said that he can not keep afloat with the tempo of the BFF.
“In fact I am a bit disheartened with the tempo of the BFF works but I am not distrustful, but to see the speed and spirit of the BFF I can't be inspired."
“Ruhul Amin said, you know, eight months before we signed on the MoU and also inspected some of the selected venues but the BFF yet to go for the action.”
“I know, there was a meeting with the Ministry of the Sports where the representatives from NSC and SAIF Powertec (our organisation) were also present and I came to understand that it will take time to start the BSL,” said Amin
“But it does not mean that I have totally postponed the project or gave walkover from the program of organizing the BSL. Might be I would have to stop the activities for the time being, not for ever.”
About the relation with the BFF president Kazi Salahuddin, the business icon of the Port City said, “There is no question about it, there is nothing wrong to become the relation worn out or pooped.”
“I just want to say that BFF should be more serious and prompt from the beginning in their activities. I was the convenor of the Salahuddin Bhai led panel in the BFF election and we had some commitments, so we should have some respect on our promise. I am a business man, I have respect on my commitment.”
“However, I am optimistic but not pessimistic. I still believe that certainly something would be done well,” Tarafdar Rushul Amin concluded.
