10 hurt in pre-election violence

Munshiganj: At least 10 people were injured, including six with bullets, in a clash between the supporters of two chairman candidates of Mollakandi Union Parishad in Sadar upazila yesterday, reports UNB.
Officer-in-charge of Munshiganj Sadar police station Yunus Ali said supporters of Awami League backed chairman candidate Ripon Patwari and independent aspirant Mohsina Hoque locked into a clash over the UP election scheduled to be held on June 28.
During the clash the six people sustained bullet injures, the OC added.
