New project Save our Earth launched
Eastern University and Rotary Club of Dhaka Royal Started a joint project Save our Earth. It was inaugurated by Abul Khair Chowdhury, chairman Board of Trustees of Eastern University, and Rotarian Shereen Bon CP of RC Dhaka Royal, says a press release.
Abdur Rob, vice-chancellor, Abdul Hannan Chowdhury, Pro-VC, Rotarian Rezina Quddus, Tahmina Ahmed, Naween Ahmed, Sharjed Islam, Md Zahid Hossain and leader of several students club of Eastern University, were present at the programme, among others.
Daylong workshop on data analysis held at AIUB
The department of Public Health of American International University Bangladesh (AIUB) organised a daylong workshop on Data Analysis on Friday, says a press release.
The workshop focused on basic research data analysis. The keynote speaker of the workshop was AKM Nurun Nabi, vice-chancellor of Begum Rokeya University.
Pro-Vice Chancellor Charles Carillo Villanueva introduced the keynote speaker in his mesmerizing speech. AKM Nurun Nabi gave a very inspiring message to all the active participants on research and the data analysis. He explained what research actually is, its importance and the conflicts it has with commonsense. He talked about some important elements which are to be considered in selecting a problem. The opening ceremony was conducted by the MPH Faculty Md Aurangzeb.
