Youth held with pistol, bullets in C’nawabganj

Police arrested a young man along with a pistol, one magazine and four rounds of bullet from Panero Rashia area in Shibganj upazila early yesterday, reports UNB from Chapainawabganj. The arrestee was identified as Sohel Rana, 22, son of Belal Maisar, a resident of the village. Mahfuz Alam, sub-inspector of Shibganj Police Station, said tipped off, a team of police conducted a drive in the area and arrested Sohel at about 2:30am. The law enforcers also recovered a pistol, one magazine and four rounds of bullet from his possession. A case was filed under the Arms Act in this connection.
