Youth shot to death

A young man was shot to death by criminals at Laskardi village in Gazaria upazila on Monday night.
The deceased was identified as Mohammad Hanif,30, of the village.
Hedayetul Islam, officer-in-charge of Gazaria Police Station, said a gang of criminals opened fire at an election camp of Awami League-backed candidate Manirul Islam Mintu in the area at about 9 pm and fled the scene, leaving Hanif injured.
