Bangladeshi youth shot dead by BSF

A Bangladeshi youth was gunned down by the members of Indian Border Security Force (BSF) at Sarialjot Kankata bordering area in Tentulia upazila of Panchagarh yesterday, reports UNB. Quoting witnesses, commanding officer of Tentulia camp BGB-18 Nayek Subedar Didar Ahmed said the BSF members of Lichugach BSF camp, opened fire on Sujon, 22, son of Sanaullah, while he was cutting grass near main pillar no 438 of the bordering area, leaving him critically injured. Later, he was rushed to Tentulia Health Complex where doctors declared him dead. A letter has been sent to the BSF members protesting the incident, he said.
